Shared Duties & Expectations
Our freelance team works collaboratively to ensure the success of each event, no matter their role. Here are some of the shared responsibilities...
Set Up and Strike Events
- Tables, chairs, table linens, centerpieces
- Merchandising displays, ice bins
- Signs, crowd control, door access
- Clean and stock sanitary supplies
- Prepare caterer staging, storage, backstage
Represent Our Brand
- Provide excellent customer service
- Convey a positive and cheerful attitude
- Greet and communicate with clients and guests
- Professional appearance and attire
Ensure the Safety of Guests
- Inspect conditions and report incidents
- Empty trash, sweep, mop, and vacuum as needed
- Report unsafe behavior to authorities as needed
Be a Team Player
- Pitch in to support the entire team as needed
- Support third-party event staff and vendors
- Arrive on site by the call time
General Qualifications
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a reliable means of transportation to and from the venue (public transit welcome).
- Maintain a reliable means of communication (e.g. cell phone and email).
- Walk up and down stairs; physically lift and transport at least 25 lbs repeatedly during a shift without displaying signs of extreme exertion.

FAQ's
How are shifts offered, and how do I accept or decline an opportunity?
Shifts are assigned using an online staffing platform called Quickstaff. When an event is booked by management a notification will be sent via email to those qualified to fill the needed role(s). Simply confirm or decline each opportunity you are offered. Management will work to assign shifts as fairly as possible based on collective response time and past performance.
What are the standards of professional appearance and attire?
- Black slacks/skirt, dress shirt/blouse, socks/nylons, dress shoes.
- Neatly groomed.
- Clean and pleasant personal hygiene.
- Magnetic name tags and other branded items may be provided.
