Colors in Concert: Music for woodwind quintet

Colors in Concert: Music for woodwind quintet

The contrasting colors of the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and french horn are brilliantly showcased through the impressionistic Tombeau de Couperin by Ravel, the spirited Bagatelles of Ligeti, and the dazzling Maslanka Quintet. Exploring the relationship between auditory and visual colors, the music will accentuate the Issaquah-based artist Kimberly Adams’s vibrant landscapes.
