North Corner Chamber Orchestra (NOCCO) invites you to our annual solstice celebration concert this December 15th. Our progam includes an astonishing bassoon concerto by Vivaldi, with our own Steven Morgan as soloist. Guest Byron Schenkman, a poet of the harpsichord, will reveal the talented flourishes of Wilhemine of Bayreuth. Handel’s grand concerto in Bb and Stravinsky’s Dumbarton Oaks will deliver both consolation and some psychic mayhem. Self-initiated and without conductor, NOCCO will bring music filled with fancy, drama, and precision straight to you.
