Dikla Kafka started practicing yoga in 2003 after many years of practicing martial arts. She wanted to find something softer but still challenging that would support her new lifestyle and career. She stepped into her first yoga class and fell in love immediately! Over the years she has practiced many styles of yoga, including Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Sivananda.
Her first teacher training was in Ashtanga Yoga in Tel Aviv, Israel, right after her first pregnancy. Here in the US she has completed 200 hours of Hatha yoga teacher training with HYI, 200 hours of Vinyasa teacher training with Les Leventhal, 95 hours of teacher training with a certification in Yin with Ali Valdez, and 500 hours advanced studying with Sattva Yoga. She currently teaches at Bala Yoga in Kirkland, owns the Viveka Yoga School, and is a trained violinist and bassoonist.
Dikla has taught Yoga Asana and Yoga Philosophy since 2011, and she enjoys bringing movement-mindfulness into people’s lives.
