John Kim

John Kim , founder of a piacere musica da camera, has served as Concertmaster of the Bellevue Philharmonic and Northwest Sinfonietta, Associate Concertmaster of the Northwest Chamber Orchestra, Principal Second Violin of the Tacoma Symphony and was soloist with numerous regional orchestras. He has performed in Carnegie Hall, New York City Center, Merkin Hall, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the White House, concertized in Europe and South Korea and was a featured artist on KING FM’s “Live By George”. He also appeared on the UW World Series at Meany Hall, Second City Chamber Series in Tacoma, WA and collaborated with international artists, Richard Stolzman, Elina Vähälä, Ralf Gothóni,
Joseph Silverstein and members of the Philadelphia Orchestra for Ensemble M . Currently, Kim plays frequently in the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra and Seattle recording studios.
