Acclaimed for both the probity of his performances and musical versatility, Norwegian pianist Knut Erik Jensen has delighted audiences throughout Europe and America. A prolific recitalist, he has given over 150 performances throughout the United States and Canada since 2007. An authority on the music of Edvard Grieg, Mr. Jensen is the featured soloist in Grieg’s piano concerto with Cape Symphony in Massachusetts for the 2017-18 season. He has visited Seattle many times and is a frequent guest of the Mostly Nordic Chamber Music Series. Jensen works at the University of Trondheim, Norway in addition to a rich freelance career.
