Student Recitals: EMTA 2023-24

Resonance Events and the Eastside Music Teachers Association are building on the tremendous success of last year’s partnership, extending it through the 2023-24 school year.

What’s New?

Both organizations have identified opportunities for improvement via small tweaks to the enrollment schedule. Here’s the skinny on 2023-24.

EMTA Open Enrollment Period (May 1-June 30, 2023)

  • Priority Booking. EMTA members receive the first pick of available slots. 
  • Schedule Year. Applies to recitals taking place between September 1, and August 31, annually. 
  • Availability. 4-hour blocks of time on Sundays, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Price
    • Without Venue Supervisor: $500 per 4-hour block
    • With Venue Supervisor: $675 per 4-hour block
  • Enrollment. Open enrollment will begin on May 1, 2023 and end on June 30, 2023

EMTA Open Enrollment
EMTA members book from available recital slots.
May 1 - June 30
July 1 - August 31
Resonance Open Enrollment
Non-EMTA teachers may book from available recital slots at a reduced rate.
July 1 - August 31
September 1 - August 31, 2024
General Enrollment
Remaining slots may be booked by any teacher at full price .
September 1 - August 31, 2024

Resonance Events Open Enrollment Period (July 1-August 31, 2023)

Non-EMTA members may contact Resonance to choose from remaining slots between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024. 

  • Price. $675 per 4-hour block including venue supervisor
  • Enrollment. Open enrollment will begin on July 1, 2023 and end on August 31, 2023

General Enrollment: After Open Enrollment

Any teacher may purchase any remaining available slots between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024. 

  • Price. $750 per 4-hour block including venue supervisor
  • Enrollment. Open General enrollment will begin on September 1, 2023 and end on August 31, 2024.
